For generations the Jedi have been the defenders of peace and justice throughout the republic. However, it is a time of turmoil for the galaxy. The age old enemy of the Jedi, the Sith, have returned and have a launched a massively successful military campaign against the Jedi and the Republic as a whole. The Jedi numbers dwindle.

While a Jedi may stumble across a potential student in their travels the Jedi choose not to leave the searching of potential Jedi to chance. It is for the reason that the Pathfinder sect of the Jedi Order was founded.

What is Pathfinder?
 
The focus is roleplaying as Jedi who are searching for potential force users in a galaxy at war. The Pathfinders are assigned to locate force users and help them find their way to the Jedi Order. Also included in the mandate is to provide protection to these novice force users and to provide any initial training they may require for their safety or the safety of others.
