Wouldn't that be something you should tell yourself, Sirovv?

But, by material, we mean... name.

I can no longer tell if you're serious. If you're serious, that's sad.

If the character was named Eltich Ahi or Aay'han Ahi or even Bob Ahi you would have the right to go wtf. But it contains those letters and it isn't a last name. Sith name Ahis = not the same as last name Ahi. Why am I explaining this?

If I've been trolled in some grand luls conspiracy, then nvm.

TBH I'm not even sure if they're trolling or actually butt-hurt over it.  I'm leaning towards trolling.  But thanks for agreeing.  Beskad doesn't even know anyone on SSG other then some IJOC members

Lexi, don't criticize people for throwing up their arms and giving their 2 cents on a name when you do the exact same thing:

In answer to your question:

Why am I explaining this?

Because you're bored and think your opinion is worth throwing around on the internet. Maybe the Ahis do too. Whether they're trolling or not they're acting on the same impulses.

Me? I'm just here to listen to some tunes and laugh at crappy guild concepts.

Ouch, cold.  Very cold.  It hurt me right here, where my heart was before you ripped it out.    Any reasons you care to share on why its a "crappy guild concept"?

Now, please keep the trolling to PMs.  I'd prefer the thread not to be locked

I'm terrified of Darth Ahis.

But with regards to the concept itself it lacks conflict and is very generic. Since they've already accomplished the task of being the "loyal, tough, fearless, smart and unafraid of death," of the sith empire's specialized military personnel there's little room for dynamic development. That would suggest you should create a character who is prepared to play a role not roleplay.

But to that end, you're appealing to a very big group of people in the MMO RP world with that expectation so good luck man.

Thank you for the constructive criticism.  I can actually answer that though.  Each Marine recruit has to still go through bootcamp.  This is to immerse them into roleplay if they're new and to give them a way into the unit.  New Sith members generally start as initiates and have to work their way up.  After bootcamp/academy, they get to choose/apply for a MOS.  So in a sense, they learn RP, get a feel for IMC RP, and choose what they prefer most.

I sort of...have to say...wut? When it comes to IMPERIAL Marine Corps. Considering the timeline is 10k in the past of the current one, granted it is "Sith Empire" but...I dunno, I'll just always see the word "Imperial" and think current timeline and that just sort of makes my brain go "wut?"

Generally Empire is translated into Imperial when regarding something like this.  If something better had been brought up, we would've used it
