Still have to take that camping trip. Would like to make it a hunting trip, but as long as it's with Rosa, I don't mind.

Maybe up north by the waterfall, or travel to picturesque wook world. I know. I'll ask where she'd like to go.

Last night, such a great night, except for Molly in the hands of the Empire.

Rosa and I went to a twi church. Really pretty. It was mostly twi'leks, except for a dosh. But as Dad says, there's always exceptions. We sat in the back since we were late. Nearly died of embarrassment. All those eyes on me. All right, maybe just the lady in the front and she smiled.

After, we were hungry so we went to Dogle's and found out that Molly's his daughter, and the Empire had her. Bad. Very bad. I gave him my reb name, and my comm chip. I have his too in case Feruso finds anything. Dogle packed Molly's ball in a go-to cube. Hope it has enough DNA to set the seeker droids. She's been missing since the last Nomad's Market. I'd be out of my mind if it were Marja or Paddy. Celestials, I'd drop everything and join the Rebellion's infantry to frack up the Empire. I just hope...

Well, the cube's on the Chief's desk.

And I picked up some cookies for Uncle Josy, and a special box with samples of cakes. With a little note inside that states that it's a small sample of wedding cakes available for Joswan and Bekkah's wedding. I waited for Josy to leave with the younglings, and Bekkah to leave with her midwife. Some kind of check up.

Sneaked it on the dining room table. To be a fly on that wall when they find it... I'd reincarnate.

Whoa! Bekkah didn't have a herd of skittish nunas when she found the box of cake samples. No, she had Bessiah.

Mom gave me one of those dire suggestions that I help Rosa babysit Rennie and Maymay while Uncle Josy and Bekkah were slightly busy. Soon as I could, I went camping to stay low.

Endor. I knew Bekkah wouldn't hunt me all the way there. Besides, um, at least. Well it's got a pretty sky at least. Wonder how old I'll have to get before not getting killed for my stunt.

Ow, the joys of bacta. Got slightly roasted in Keren, helping to defend the city with Feruso. I dig it. Skippy did more damage than I did, and I'm sure when it comes time to give the imps the bird... She's going to herald the gates of hell.

Swore Marja and Paddy to silence. It's a little hard to hide those twinges when I come over and start moving things around. "Greg, mind getting plates from the upper cabinet?" Maybe I should take pain killers before coming over.

Camping supplies, checked and packed. All that's needed is whether I need to pack extra for weather.

If nothing else, Dad taught me how to pack efficiently. Helps with those little excursions that demand a little time to fulfill.

<FLAG> Note. Make sure the cat has plenty to eat and is amused enough to leave us alone.

Wait, Skippy's a cat. There is no such thing as enough attention. And he's jealous of me petting other beings. Dammit.

Dammit. Dammit. Dammit. Dammit.

With Skippy's interruption, we got the tent up before the rain hit. Tight enough squeeze for two. Skippy decided to join us inside. I am shocked the tent's in once piece still. At least we were warm.

Al-most.

So kriffing close... Literally about five seconds from both of us losing our virginity. Skippy woke up from his Force nap and started begging for attention. Part of me wanted to do it anyway, but the mood was gone. At least the sleeping bags combine.

I have to be smarter than Skippy, although he's one cunning bastard. Rosa suggested in the morning...

She feels so good.

No regrets. Ever.

Some trooper had the bad taste to throw himself on a neighboring YT and bleed to death. Scared some rodians who went running to the Chief, and we had the joy of removing the bastard from armor and tossing him into a lake.

I much prefer hunting with the Chief, but we do have to make sure that the imps don't have a reason to sneak around.

Even when said hunting lands me in a bacta tank. Again.

I'm so glad I moved out. Mom would freak.

I usually don't mention these things for reasons that completely mystify.

Sarcasm. Utter sarcasm. Don't make me get the definition out.

My usual contact gets a hold of me, and asks if I could help out with a small matter. Yeah, sure, I like helping them out. Granted, I really like the ones on Tatooine since they did help me a lot. Oh, and we got along very well. Still do. His eldest youngling is  looking into off world universities.

And I get a call saying that my skills could be of so much use, and oh yes, my space skills have measured up to be acceptable as a gunner. If I could go to these coords on this planet, it would help the Rebellion that much more...

Maybe. Well we did kill a lot of pirates and droids, and Celestials know we can use fewer of both. Not that I'm at the depth of my boss for droid hate, but droids with weapons. Bad idea. Someone at least managed to hack the pirates' droids, and made them stand down. Those bastards leapt out of the ground too. Traps. Utter chaos and I kept to my squad leader. Ninety-nine percent of the time, the best idea ever.

Well I survived it. Despite my squad leader and ship captain getting pissy with me. And his being a wookiee. Bad combination. Best thing to do is survive and run like the hells are at your heels. Because they might be catching up. Kept getting my Rebel handle wrong. Look, if I wanted to drag my family name through this mess, I would have used it. Hello? Major hint here. It's not about lying. It's about protecting my baby cousins. Oh those that you'd like to see protected too, eh? Makes me facepalm.

My body's completely toasted from the first the space turret thing, and then the ground pounding. I really should have asked for some bacta treatment, but it's really just bruising. A lot of bruising. I'll wait a week and I'll be good.

Soooo, wookiee goes off and I follow him into a diner of sorts. He accuses me of lying, and I lay out exactly what I'm doing by using a different name for my Rebel handle. Hells, it's not that different, hello. Then he's asking me about Dino. Well I don't know a lot about Dino beyond Feruso telling me to leave him the hells alone. Don't contact him. It'd distract him from what he's doing. Whatever that is. Raca asked me about Dino. I told him to talk to the boss lady. She's the one who handles personnel, right? Then he asks about what kind of man he is, whether he'd run when things got bad or stay to protect his current girlfriend. He has a girlfriend? Well, yeah, now I know he does. Good lady with a lot of spunk. Nice boobs too.

Raca puts a cred chip on the table and tells me to buy Rosa something nice to wear that actually matches. He's kidding, right? No. I can practically tell taht if I don't take the chip, he'd rip my head off. If I do take the chip, I'd be accepting his... I don't know. Meddling? Leadership? Place in my life? whatever it was, I didn't like it. Then he tells me that there are no attachments with Rosa or Bekkah. So I told him that I was taking it for Rosa to decide what to do with it. To avoid all attachments. I survived getting out of that diner at least.

Feruso told me to see Dino to scan the chip. Just in case. Nothing on it. No audio, video, locational or any kind of tracking. Met Dino's girl, let him know that Raca was looking for him.

Oh yes, he also said that we needed to tighten our security because his... agent, pet, whatever got too close to us.

I'm keeping a better eye open. Maybe we have exactly what we need in place, like Dino said. Maybe we just need to use it more.

Bruises still ache. Helping Mom  with all of the younglings over didn't help, and I think she knows.

Next time, I'm jumping in a bacta bath.

Ouch. Oh hells. My visor's giving me biometric warnings. I wasn't as careful as I should have been. Hells, I should have jumped into a bacta bath when given the opportunity. Fever, definitely sore. Nasty little streaks. Infection means... antibiotics. I'm sure Kaz wouldn't tell Mom.

Maybe. Maybe I can ride it out.

I'm trying to watch the security cams for oddball stuff.

Mom figured it out. She came over with piket soup and told me that it really helps to stay healthy if I wanted to help out around the town.

Uh, Mom? It's a job, not me trying to be a helpful youngling who will quit at any time that his mother disapproves.

Feeling better.

Celestials, have I been busy. Between Dad's pest clearing, and patrolling the Resort, it's a wonder I even see Marja and Paddy anymore.

Aello is shaping up at least. Hasn't flown at anyone on her own for a while.

Feruso's Cuddles, that nexu grew fast. Big and ferocious. Marja told me that DC still cuddles him, but not when the Chief's around. It's ugly, but would make a great protector.

Ash has seen a figure on the cams, sent me out to check, and no one's there. Either they've moved on, or... Kaz will know if there's a upgrade for my suit.

Black Suns have been seen in Madrid Harbor, but that's a kind of a distance. Not really, but either they're sending some really sneaky people to us or the figure isn't Black Sun. Dad doesn't think it's the Scum. The Scum we're used to facing is not known for being able to sneak well.

I swear, Uncle Josy's therapist can't stay out of the med center. As for Uncle Josy, Marja thinks there's something wrong, but their younglings aren't talking about it. Which is weird because younglings talk about everything. What's really weird is that Aldara talks all the time, and Rennie must not tell her.

You know what I like most about moving out? I can have any pet I want. Even a snake if I wanted one. Maybe after I have Aello fully trained.
